Project Overview

In December 2025, COMFYARD completed a custom WPC boundary fencing project in Vaucluse, Sydney, replacing an existing timber lattice fence with a modern composite fence designed for the property's swimming pool safety requirements.

The project involved approximately 28.7 metres of new fencing, constructed to a height of 1.8 metres using custom-made horizontal WPC panels.

The fence was built on site to accommodate different boundary widths, with horizontal composite boards installed without gaps between the blades, as specified for the project.

Custom WPC Fence Construction

The project included:

  • Demolish and Dispose existing Timber Lattice Fence.

  • Approximately 28.7 metres of new boundary fencing.

  • 1,800 mm fence height.

  • Custom-made horizontal WPC panels.

  • Closely fitted horizontal boards without gaps between the blades.

  • In-ground posts and supporting components.

  • Core drilling where required for post installation.

  • Removal and disposal of the existing timber lattice fence.

Custom Installation Around an Established Tree

One of the key features of this project was installing the new WPC boundary fence around a large established tree. The fence line was carefully configured to accommodate the tree trunk and existing site conditions while maintaining a consistent horizontal slatted appearance.

This required a customised fence layout to work around the natural obstacles along the boundary, demonstrating COMFYARD's ability to adapt composite fencing installations to the unique features of each property.

A Modern Alternative to Timber Lattice Fencing

Replacing the existing timber lattice fence with a custom WPC system gave the property a more contemporary boundary treatment.
